Riyadh – Mubasher: The net profits after Zakat and tax of United Electronics Company (eXtra) rose by 23.61% year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 224.61 million in the first half (H1) of 2022 from SAR 181.70 million, according to the company's estimated financial results.

The company generated revenues of SAR 3.11 billion in H1-22, up 15.55% from SAR 2.69 billion in the year-ago period.

The earnings per share (EPS) settled at SAR 3.74 in the January-June period of 2022, versus SAR 3.03 in the corresponding period of the earlier year.

During the second quarter (Q1) of 2022, eXtra's net profits after Zakat and tax increased by 26.47% YoY to SAR 127.10 million from SAR 100.50 million.

It is noteworthy to mention that during the first quarter (Q1) of 2022, the company recorded a 20.03% rise in its estimated net profits to SAR 97.47 million, compared to SAR 81.2 million in the same quarter of 2021.
